It is, yet some of this stuff is truly amazing and warrants serious attention. It's kind of like an "Idiot's Guide" or "For Dummies" book about mysteries involving numbers.

It is quite compelling and well written, but it leaves you feeling unsatisfied because most of the concepts discussed require considerable elaboration to be properly understood, and all this book offers is bite-size info-nuggets that serve as an intellectual snack instead of a psychic supper. The authors use sites like Wikipedia and Suite There's also cutsey asides throughout. I gave it 3 stars because of it's readability--but I don't think it would stand up to a research assignment in the standard Freshman composition course in most universities.
